Davide is proud to have been an integral part of the North End’s incredible dining scene for many years. Our doors first opened in 1982 and since then we have provided Boston with the highest quality culinary creations. Our talented chefs pool their collective years of experience to create dishes that reflect the rich traditions of Northern Italy combined with sophisticated modern interpretations of regional Italian dishes. Davide has earned numerous accolades over the years, including the Best of the Best 5 Star Diamond Award of Excellence as being “One of the top 50 Italian Restaurants in the United States”, A Phantom Gourmet rating of “Greatness”, a Five-Diamond award from AAA, a rating of Excellent from Zagat Survey, along with numerous other awards.

We are also pleased to offer our patrons one of the finest wine lists in all of Boston. Co-owner and Chef Frank Gesualdi is a connoisseur of fine wine, who spent several years in the wine distribution industry before entering the restaurant trade. He loves to share his passion and knowledge of wine with all who enter Davide’s intimate surroundings. Chef Gesualdi’s efforts have resulted in Davide receiving Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence every year since 1985 and the Best Grappa Award 5 years running.

Our charming dining rooms, accented with exposed brick and oak walls, are perfect for any occasion. We can easily accommodate romantic dinners, business meals, or even private functions. Davide boasts being one of the few restaurants that still prepare Caesar salad table side.
